Citizens in Support of the Sea Services
Navy League is a civilian organization dedicated to informing the American people that the United States of America is a maritime nation and that its national defense and economic well-being are dependent upon strong sea services-United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, United States Coast Guard and United States Merchant Marine

Your Council Navy League Join your Local Council so that you can take part in local activities in support of the Sea Services. We meet every month and have interesting programs that are both informative and entertaining. The meeting starts with a social hour, then a dinner followed by a program consisting of speakers from the military on national defense and other topics of interest.
Some of our other activities include:

          Ship tours and rides
          Receptions for Navy and Coast Guard ships
          Awards programs honoring local sea service units
          Sea Cadets and NROTC units
          A local newsletter called the Savannah Steamer
          Social events

Contact our Membership Chairman who will be will be happy to answer any questions. If you would like to attend a meeting we will provide a sponsor to greet and host your visit and you can see what we do “first hand” and if you would like to be part of the Navy league
